Hello everyone! Today I want to share about my visit to Selfie Museum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I visited this place last October, and I almost forgot to write the draft; though I have edited the photos -_-;
Selfie Museum is located on 2nd Floor of Fahrenheit 88 Plaza, in Bukit Bintang district.
Selfie Museum is located on 2nd Floor of Fahrenheit 88 Plaza, in Bukit Bintang district.
I've been eyeing this location for weeks and asked my hubby if we could visit that place or not. He said yes and we decided to visit it a day before last day in KL.
Taking photos outside the museum
First Tip
Buy your tickets online to get cheaper price. Here is the website: https://www.selfie.com.my/
You can book ticket on the day up to months beforehand your visit to KL Selfie Museum.

Opening Hours: 10 AM - 10 PM
You may choose hour: 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00, 16.00, 17.00, 18.00, 19.00, 20.00, 21.00 (48 slots available for each hour)
Choose the session: Interval 15 minutes for each hour.
KL Selfie Museum Entrance
Come earlier, 10-30 minutes before your destined hour. For example, if you chose 2 PM (or 14.00), you should come around 13.30-13.50. Why? Because you need to re-register yourself and get briefing from their staff.
Everything is so cute, don't forget to put hashtag #Selfielah if you take photos here :D
Go to toilet first before entering the museum, because they don't provide toilet for customer. You can use mall toilet on the same floor.
Keep this ticket to redeem 5 free desserts inside the museum
Why did I get 13.15 session? Because we (me & hubby) arrived late and they kindly rescheduled the session for us. We're supposed to enter the museum at 13.00 ^_^;; They're flexible enough to reschedule the session, as long as there are remaining slots.
PS: If you wonder why I held 2 chili sauce bottles, they're given by the staff as souvenir from the sponsor.
The staff was talking to new customer who hasn't booked the ticket yet.
Flyer of KL Selfie Museum. The Selfiest (is it even a word?? LOL XD) Place in Malaysia. Consists of 9 rooms, 5 dessert with only 1 ticket.
Fourth Tip
Take your time as efficient as possible inside. The limit stay is 10 minutes for each room, and we have approximately 1,5 hours to explore all selfie corners. Get your tripod, and selfie stick ready; if needed.
Fifth Tip
Bring your water bottle. They will be serving mostly sweets, and I think it's better to bring your own mineral water so you won't get sore throat (I don't know about you, but I have quite weak throat. I need to drink mineral water after eat / drink something overly sweet).
Sixth Tip
Wear comfy clothes. I suggest you to not wear mini skirt or low cut top, so you can explore the museum more comfortably. Shirt that I wore was quite loose and I had some trouble to adjust my shirt every time I take photos -_-; Don't be like me.
Seventh Tip
Appreciate your surroundings. Do not litter or damage the properties. There are some trash bins inside the museum, ask the staff if needed.
Lastly, ENJOY the museum ^_^
DESSERT ROOMS
ROOM 1 - Cakes
Too many objects in this room (and the room is too cramped IMHO). I couldn't take any photo with one object, without getting distracted by another object. Well, you still can edit the photos using Photoshop later ^_^;
First Dessert: Cupcake
I guess this room is sponsored by Pandora Jewellery.

Cupcake, candy, macaroon, gummy bear, strawberry, rainbow cake and strawberry shortcake.
My favorite spot is bottom left :D
ROOM 2 - Lollipop
PINK everywhere! This is one of my favorites room ♥♥ This room is sponsored by US cosmetic brand, Benefit (can you spot their logo on the pink stall? :D)
Old public telephones, ball pit, lollipop, macaroon, gummy bear
Second dessert: Marshmallow & Cotton Candy (Room 3&4)
ROOM 3 - Cotton Candy
I feel like floating on the clouds when entering this room. Many puffy fluffy objects here :D Sadly it's not wide enough and my camera wasn't good enough to capture the pretty blue color *_* I guess I need to upgrade my Photoshop skill.
ROOM 4 - Ice Cream
Next room is dominated in pink and blue stripes. You can see the giant ice cream cup because this room is sponsored by Baskin Robins ;)
Third Dessert: Ice cream cup
Ice cream cup, hot air balloon, candy cane and melted ice cream cone ^_^
ROOM 4-2 - Bonus Room (?)
I assume this is an extention room of 4th room ^_^;; LOLIn this room, you may use the provided Samsung Galaxy, write or doodle something, and take photos with the result :D We found it quite entertaining and fun to do.
Me and my hubby, this photo was taken at 21 October :D
ROOM 5 - Traditional Market Snacks
I think this room is quite random ehmm... I should've asked for their staff, what the meaning of this room XD and I couldn't find any sponsor logo.
Ice cream sandwich swing, traditional market snack (jajanan pasar), pantry and teh tarik.
ROOM 6 - Durian
This room is fun, because you can tak picture with durian, and this room is wide enough to take group photo or panorama photo :D
Hugging chubby unicorn :D
ROOM 7 - Ball Pit & Colorful Candies
The next room is occupied with yellow ball pit (oh hi Mr. Banana!) and you can try Samsung Galaxy's slow-mo video feature ^_^ The staff will help to record the video using device that installed on the corner of room (sorry I forgot to take a picture of it).I don't know if this room is sponsored with M&M, or it is just random chocolate candies.
Yellowww~~ So colorful and happy vibe
ROOM 8 - Boba & Milk Tea
I really love this colorful room ^_^ This room is filled with boba, frozen yogurt and milk tea. This room is sponsored by Llaollao, a well-known frozen yogurt & milk tea brand in Malaysia. Because we got free milk teas here, I become a fan of Llaollao later on, LOL xD
Fourth Dessert: Boba Milk Tea
I feel little bit anxious when seeing the milk tea statue ^_^; don't you think it's similar with "certain" phobia pattern? Haha. And their frozen yogurt is yummy too, I tried it once at mall :D
ROOM 9 - Donuts
This is last room in this museum. You may take photos with colorful donuts and make an unique video with their built-in camera, to make spinning video. We made one too, but haven't shared it on social media :D Well, it's fun and worth to try!
Fifth Dessert: Klepon! (but they call it Onde ^_^a)
"Non-stop Selfie" LMAO
Okay, we came to the end of the museum :D At the exit, they also provide sweet-spicy caramelized popcorn in cups for the customers. It's weird but yummy tho.
Aaannnd this is the souvenir shop, just in case you want to buy their unicorn dolls ^_^
I do recommend you to visit this museum if:
- You have a group of friends who like to take photos
- You like dessert theme
- You don't like crowds and want to spend holiday casually
You might think the fare is quite expensive, but I think it's fun enough and worth the price :)
I like how they keep organize the amount of customers per session, so you can take pictures nicely without worry of being pushed by crowd.
