Koelf Callus Care Heel Patch & Peeling Balm [review]

Hello everyone! Today I want to share about my recent favorite product for my heels ♥ To be honest, my feet is body part that I care the least :'D I often forget to pamper my feet, especially my heels. LOL. I also barely get professional pedicure for myself, so sometimes my heels look cracked and coarse. I know it's kinda embarrassing -_-

A while ago I got a chance to try heel care products (heel care? Is the term even exist? LOL) in a collaboration of Surabaya Beauty Blogger and @elsyoungid (Instagram), thank you ♥ And of ourse I become more excited with the products because it's a brand that I've never heard before :D

The products are Koelf Callus Care Heel Patch & Koelf Callus Care Peeling Balm.

This was my first time trying heel patch and peeling balm. I was kinda puzzled with Callus Care Peeling Balm. Is it really different with regular body lotion? Hmmm.. let's see!

Okay, this one is different compared to foot mask that I've tried last year, because it's patch, and not a kind of sock mask :D Are you as excited as I am?

Descriptions

• Callus Removal: Containing Urea and Papain dissolves hard calluses softly
• Nutrients and Moisture: Oriental medicine extracts and plant extracts supply nutrients and moisture deep into rough and cracked calluses.
• Protective Layer: It helps create a protective layer on damaged skin layer, making the skin soft and silky.

Directions

1. Was thoroughly the applied area and remove water
2. Remove supported film and thoroughly attach to allow the gel to cover the heels
3. Remove the patch after and hour or more
   
   PS: Wearing socks over the patch is recommended to prevent slipping

Ingredients

Water, Glycerin, Urea, Propanediol, Sodium Polycraylate, Cellulose Gum, Mica (terra alba), Glyceryl Caprylate, Tartaric Acid, p-Anisic Acid, Aluminum Glycinate, Salicylic Acid, Sucrose, Opuntia coccinellifera flower extract, Fructose, Disodium EDTA, Ascorbic Acid, Papain, Sodium Hyaluronate, Citric Acid, Curcuma Longa (turmeric) Root Extract, Glycolic Acid, Dimethicone.

I'm a bit confused here.. What is Urea and Papain? ^_^;; It must be its main ingredients, since it's also stated on descriptions section..  When I googled it, it seems Urea is a kind of ingredient cream (?) and Papain is Papaya... Please CMIIW.

Packaging

You will get 3 pairs (or 6 patches) in the box. It's designed like a sheet mask packaging, that packed individually; which is really convenient and hygienic. Once you open the packaging, you'll see a pair of gel heel patches with love pattern. So cute! ♥

Texture & Scent
It has jelly and sticky texture, and helps to give nutrients and moisture when applied on to the heels. It has faint chemical scent, but doesn't bother me at all. You may wear socks to prevent slipping, but for me I'm fine to walk with these patches on :D

To complement the heel patch, I also tried the Callus Care Peeling Balm~

Descriptions

This is a balm that contains natural ingredients, vegetable oil, and urea; to softens callus on your body. Patented ingredients, NXSC-20090505 (*I also don't know what is this*) and Turmeric Root Extract protect skin, minimize skin damage and keep skin soft. Can be used 1-2x a day for full absorption.

Packaging

It comes in a tube, with twist cap and carton box. Its color is dominated with white and red. I don't know why; but when you squeeze the tube, it's like the tube is half full. However, it has slim tip that allow me to control the amount of the product.

Texture & Scent
Though it's claimed as balm, the texture is creamy and can be categorized as a cream, rather than a balm. This product is not greasy and easy to blend onto the skin.As I remember from the ingredients list, it has no fragrance. And it truly doesn't smell anything. So yay for non-fragrance product! :D

STEP BY STEP

1. Clean your feet before using this product, and dry them out.

2. Remove the Koelf Callus Care Heel Patch from its film

3. Leave the patches for an hour or more. You may wear socks to prevent slipping.

4. Remove the patches, and you will see your heels is way softer, moisturized and no longer cracked.

5. Apply the Koelf Callus Care Peeling Balm

6. Blend the cream thoroughly with circular motion. Do it 1-2 times a day.

RESULT (BEFORE AFTER)

Sorry you have to see my ugly feet XD LOL. Actually I didn't apply the Peeling Balm regularly (I often forget it, duh!) and I think I only finished all 3 pairs of Heel Patch and applied the Peeling Balm for around 2 weeks in accumulative. And here's the result!

The result is quite impressive :O I remember how rough my heels were, and they're now as soft as baby's skin (almost)! I think I will keep using the balm because it's so effective and I love it! :D
