ZOYA One Brand Makeup Tutorial + Quick Review

Hi everyone! Today's post is special because this is my first time making a ONE BRAND MAKEUP TUTORIAL! *Throw confetti*. For this makeup tutorial, I'm partnering up with a local brand named ZOYA COSMETICS. If you're an Indonesian I'm pretty sure at least you've ever heard about this brand once :) I'm so excited because this is my first time trying ZOYA makeup products as well ^___^ For each step on this tutorial, I will use ZOYA product along with quick review. Don't worry I will write the tutorial in Bahasa Indonesia as well, so you will understand more comprehensive explanation from me :D

Haiii semua! Untuk tutorial kali ini spesial pake telor, karena aku bikin ONE BRAND MAKEUP TUTORIAL. Apa sih itu? Maksudnya tutorial makeup yang hanya pake produk-produk dari merek yang sama. Untuk One Brand Makeup Tutorial ku yang pertama, aku berkerjasama dengan ZOYA COSMETICS! Harusnya kalau kalian pernah denger nama merek ini paling ngga sekali lah yaa? Merek kosmetik Zoya ini lagi naik daun soalnya :D Selain kualitasnya yang memuaskan untuk harga yang tergolong murah, Zoya juga sudah dapat sertifikat halal; jadi bagi kalian yang cari makeup halal bisa melipir ke Zoya ;)

Tanpa berlama-lama lagi, yuk mari kita mulai tutorialnya :D

ZOYA ONE BRAND MAKEUP TUTORIAL
Step by step makeup with pictures (pictorial)

STEP 1: Apply CC cream with hand / brush / sponge, can be used to conceal dark circles and blemishes as well. I used Zoya Color Corrector Cream (CC cream) in Translucent.

QUICK REVIEW: The CC Cream from Zoya has lightweight texture and ideal to be used before foundation / TWC (if you want higher coverage). This CC Cream is able to correct uneven skin tone. Though its name is Translucent, this CC cream's shade matches with yellow undertone skin tone. A bit too orange-ish for my skin, but gladly it adjusts to my skin tone.


TAHAP 1: Aplikasikan CC cream dengan tangan / kuas makeup / spons makeup, juga bisa digunakan untuk menutupi lingkaran hitam (mata panda) dan juga bekas jerawat. Aku menggunakan Zoya Color Corrector Cream (CC Cream) warna Translucent.

REVIEW SINGKAT: CC Cream dari Zoya ini teksturnya sangat ringan dan cocok digunakan sebagai alas bedak, dan bisa mengkoreksi pigmentasi kulit. Meski namanya translucent, tapi CC cream ini memiliki warna yang menyerupai warna kulit dan cocok untuk kulit dengan yellow undertone. Sedikit terlalu oranye di kulitku tapi kemudian menyesuaikan warna kulitku.

STEP 2: Apply Two Way Cake Powder all over your skin, you may use wet sponge for higher coverage. I used Zoya Natural White Two Way Cake in Blossom

QUICK REVIEW: This TWC Powder is quite lightweight. Not patchy but glides smoothly on my skin.
I like to use this TWC when I'm in rush and dun want to have heavy makeup.

TAHAP 2: Aplikasikan Bedak Two Way Cake ke seluruh kulit wajah, boleh juga memakai spons basah kalau mau makeup yang lebih tebal. Aku menggunakan Zoya Natural White Two Way Cake warna Blossom.

REVIEW SINGKAT: Bedak TWC ini lumayan ringan. Ngga bikin kulitku jadi kering dan bercak-bercak pas dipake, dan hasilnya pun kulitku kelihatan mulus. Aku suka menggunakan Bedak TWC ini kalau pas lagi terburu-buru dan ngga pengen pake makeup tebel.

STEP 3: Frame your face with well-groomed and natural looking eyebrows, don't forget to brush them out from the center to outer. I used Zoya Eyebrow Pencil in Brown.

QUICK REVIEW: I heard many good reviews about this eyebrow pencil from my fellow bloggers, and I think this eyebrow pencil is so soft, highly pigmented, and durable :) I wish it comes with eyebrow brush, LOL :p


TAHAP 3: Bingkai wajah dengan alis yang terbentuk dengan rapi dan natural, jangan lupa untuk menyikat alis sesuai pertumbuhan alis, yaitu dari dalam keluar. Aku menggunakan Pensil Alis Zoya warna coklat.

REVIEW SINGKAT: Sebelum pake sendiri, aku udah dengar beberapa review bagus dari temen-temen sesama blogger tentang pensil alis ini dan emang bener pensil alis ini tuh empuk banget, warna nya mudah keluar dan awettt gak gampang patah :) Aku cuma ngarep pensil alis ini udah include dengan sikat alis sih, jadi ngga perlu bingung cari sikat alis lagi :P

STEP 4: For natural makeup look, apply brown eyeshadow all over your eyelids and blend the harsh lines gently. I used Zoya single eyeshadow in Carafe shade.

QUICK REVIEW: This single eyeshadow's quality is quite good! It's pigmented and easy to blend. It's little bit powdery but not too much.

TAHAP 4: Untuk makeup natural aplikasikan eyeshadow coklat di kelopak mata dan baurkan eyeshadow dengan perlahan. Aku menggunakan Eyeshadow Zoya warna Carafe.

REVIEW SINGKAT: Eyeshadow satuan Zoya ini kualitasnya lumayan bagus. Warnanya keluar dan mudah dibaurkan. Agak menyerbuk tapi ngga parah.

STEP 5: Line your eyelids as neat as possible (be creative with this step, you can also make winged eyeliner). I used Zoya Ultimate Eyeliner in Black Ink.

QUICK REVIEW: This retractable eyeliner pencil is waterproof but not smudgeproof. Its texture is soft but highly pigmented. Unfortunately the eyeliner itself is quite fragile and tend to break. Mine is already broken a bit because I accidentally twisted the eyeliner while inserted it into makeup pouch T__T

TAHAP 5: Gambar eyeliner serapi mungkin (kalian bisa juga menggunakannya untuk menggambar berbagai macam bentuk eyeliner). Aku menggunakan Eyeliner pensil Zoya Ultimate Eyeliner warna Black Ink. 

REVIEW SINGKAT: Eyeliner pensil yang bisa diputar (tidak perlu diraut) ini tahan air tapi mudah meleber kalau digosok. Teksturnya lembut dan warnanya kereng. Sayangnya pensil eyeliner ini lumayan ringkih dan mudah patah. Punyaku sendiri udah patah sedikit gara-gara aku ngga sengaja puter badan eyelinernya pas lagi masukin eyeliner ini ke dalam tas T___T

STEP 6: Curl your eyelashes gently and apply mascara with zig-zag motions to avoid clumping result. I used Zoya Volumizer Lash Mascara.

QUICK REVIEW: This mascara is good to volumize eyelashes and it's quite long lasting. I haven't tested if this mascara is tearproof or smudgeproof though. On my next review, ok? ^^

TAHAP 6: Jepit bulu matamu dan aplikasikan maskara dengan gerakan zig-zag agar maskara tidak menggumpal di bulu mata. Aku menggunakan maskara Zoya Volumizer Lash Mascara.

REVIEW SINGKAT: Maskara ini oke untuk menebalkan bulu mata dan lumayan awet pas dipake. Aku belum ngetes apakah maskara ini tahan air mata / tahan gosokan sih.. Nanti aku infokan lagi di reviewku berikutnya, oke? ^^

STEP 7: Using blush brush, apply blush on with swirling motions on the apple of your cheeks. I used Zoya Blush On in Confetti

QUICK REVIEW: This blush on is quite pigmented and surprisingly it matches with my yellow-undertone skintone (because it's dolly pink). This blush on is also a bit powdery but still tolerable.

TAHAP 7: Dengan menggunakan kuas untuk blush on (pemerah pipi), pulaskan blush on ini ke tulang pipi dengan gerakan memutar. Aku menggunakan blush on Zoya warna Confetti

REVIEW SINGKAT: Pigmentasi blush on ini lumayan oke dan aku kaget warna nya bisa cocok dengan kulitku yang yellow-undertone ini (karena warna pinknya agak terlalu dolly pink). Blush on nya juga agak menyerbuk tapi masih bisa ditolerir.

STEP 8 (Optional):  Contour your nose using brown eyeshadow, really gently. Use fingers if needed. I used Zoya Eyeshadow in Carafe.

QUICK REVIEW: As contouring powder, this eyeshadow is not bad! Be careful to not apply too much or your nose will end up looking quite fake. Blend with fingers for softer result :D


TAHAP 8: Kontur hidung dengan menggunakan eyeshadow coklat dengan perlahan. Pakai jari untuk membaurkan warnanya bila diperlukan. Aku menggunakan Zoya Eyeshadow warna Carafe

REVIEW SINGKAT: Eyeshadow ini lumayan untuk digunakan sebagai kontur hidung. Hati-hari aja jangan kebanyakan aplikasikan ke hidung kalau ngga mau hidung kalian keliatan aneh. Baurkan dengan menggunakan jari untuk hasil yang lebih lembut :D

STEP 9: Apply lipstick carefully. Don't forget to apply lip balm underneath. I used Zoya Ultramatte Lipstick in Rose Water

QUICK REVIEW: This matte lipstick is quite drying and applying lip balm before is a must. IMHO this lipstick's shape makes me hesitate when apply it onto my lips, because I'm afraid it will smear everywhere and I'm too lazy to use lip brush for touch up.

TAHAP 9: Aplikasikan lipstik dengan perlahan biar ngga meleber kemana-mana. Juga, jangan lupa gunakan pelembab bibir sebelumnya biar bibir ngga kering. Aku menggunakan lipstik matte Zoya Ultramatte warna Rose Water

REVIEW SINGKAT: Lipstik ini lumayan kering dan keset gitu, jadi wajib pake lip balm sebelum pake lipstik ini. Menurutku sih bentuk dari lipstik ini bikin aku ragu-ragu pas pake. Kalo orang Surabaya bilangnya "njembret" kemana-mana ^_^;; Aku juga bukan tipe orang yang bawa kuas lipstik pas keluar rumah jadi menurutku kurang praktis kalau mau touch up.

STEP 10: Pat your t-zone with blotting powder to absorb excessive oil on nose, forehead and chin. Actually you may also use loose powder (with powder brush) but I used Zoya Blotting Powder because it's more convenient.

QUICK REVIEW: This blotting powder has small size that travel-friendly and reliable product to touch up everywhere and everytime :D I recommend you to patting your skin with dry tissue first before use this blotting powder, though.


TAHAP 10: Tepuk-tepuk blotting powder ke area t-zone untuk menyerap kelebihan minyak pada hidung, dahi dan dagu. Sebenernya kalian juga bisa pakai bedak tabur (dengan menggunakan kuas bedak), tapi aku menggunakan Zoya Blotting Powder biar lebih praktis

REVIEW SINGKAT: Blotting powder ini ukurannya mungil dan mudah dibawa-bawa. Sekarang mau touch up dimana aja bisa :D Btw bagi yang masih bingung, blotting powder ini fungsinya kayak kertas minyak; yang bisa menyerap kelebihan minyak pada kulit :D Tapi sebaiknya sebelum pake bedak ini, tepuk-tepuk area berminyak pake tissue kering dulu yaa..

BEFORE

I looked like half-dead, LOL. I was lacked of sleep at that moment and I looked pale without makeup. Moreover, I got pimples here and there due to stress and unhealthy lifestyle *bang my head on the wall* T__T

AFTER

In minutes, I become lively and fresh again XDD Thanks to Makeup LOL.
I think this makeup is suitable for daily basis, exclude the lipstick. I prefer peach / coral lipstick instead of dolly pink, because I can't pull off dolly pink lipstick with lighter makeup ^_^;

Anyway, I got these products from Zoya in collaboration between Surabaya Beauty Blogger and ZOYA COSMETICS. I promise I will make complete reviews for each products soon ;)
