Event Report: Surabaya Beauty Bloggers x MAKEOVER Gathering

Hello everyone~ these past days, internet connection in my boarding house is sucks; it's terribly slow and irritating -_- well thankfully I still can upload photos on my blog and continuing my post! Few days ago, Makeover Indonesia gathered most of Surabaya Beauty Bloggers to make a special event for us! :D We're so happy because we could seen each other after a long time (especially for me, my last event was 6 months ago LOL).

A while ago, Moniq from Makeover asked me about Surabaya Beauty Bloggers and intended to make a gathering to introduce their new products, I was very pleased with her idea and volunteered myself to collect contact my fellow bloggers and the girls responded positively :D I estimate the numbers of Beauty Bloggers in Surabaya is actually around 30-50 persons and Makeover invited 20 persons of them, included me :) Thank you Moniq & Makeover team for the invitations!

The event itself was held at 1 May 2016, at Too Too Moo Cafe. A day before the event I was little bit worried of the traffic crowd, because the event was held on Labor Day; gladly the traffic wasn't as worse as I thought. I went to the location hurriedly after work (yes I also work on Sunday hehe) and I was so late @_@. When I stepped inside, most of bloggers were already there and Makeover Team was introducing themselves.

Location: Too Too Moo Cafe; Jalan Untung Suropati 63 Surabaya. I was excited to visit this cafe because I've never been before, unfortunately I didn't have enough photos and personal experience with this cafe so I can't blog about it, yet. So maybe next time ^_^

Met Girly from www.caaantik.com in person for the first time :D Yes, this blogger's name is Girly, what a cute name isn't it?

Before started, we had our lunch first! Sorry I don't know its name but this pasta was served with big portion (which is I really like, because I am a glutton :p) but unfortunately the taste of this pasta was pretty savourless and the ice tea was flat enough to be called as "es teh manis" ._.

Today's agenda was all about eyeliner, and Mbak Ika would do a makeup demo soon! :)

The price of Makeover Eyeliner Pencil is IDR 80,000 and currently this eyeliner is available in11 colors: Classic Green, Posh Purple, Black Jack, Brown Latte, Navy Blue, White Techno, Glam Gold, Goddess Gold. And their latest colors were Royal Blue, Nude Sleek & Silver Lines :D

I've finished Makeover Brown Latte eyeliner back to 2014 and I'm falling in love again with this eyeliner ♥♥

Because of the soft texture, we shouldn't sharpen this eyeliner with regular sharpener (to prevent the eyeliner break). You may get the eyeliner sharpener at Makeover Counter :D

Mbak Ika was lining the model's eyelids with Makeover Royal Blue eyeliner pencil. FYI, Royal Blue eyeliner is one of 2016 trends and it was the highlight of the day.

Brightens your eyes instantly

Mbak Ika also taught us to combine the eyeliners and challenge us to make a creative eye makeup with the colorful eyeliner pencils.

The game begins and the best eye makeup would win special prizes!

I knew I won't win that day, because my face looked so tired after work (excuse, I know :p) and I was bit afraid to play with too many colors since I'd rather to "play safe". And then, Wulan Wu & Gadis were chosen as the winners for the best eye makeup! Congrats girls! :D

There was little surprise for Sabrina (sabrinatedjo.blogspot.com), prepared by Kathy & Ce Mindy; because she had her birthday the day before the event ^_^ Surprisingly, Mbak Ika also had birthday on 1 May and they ended up blew the candles together. Happy Birthday Sabsab & Mbak Ika!

The event was ended well, I enjoyed the event and I'd like to thank Makeover team for the hard work! ^_^
It's very pleasant to meet new faces as well! Sorry if I still couldn't remember the new bloggers' faces, I'll try slowly but sure hehe. Nice to meet you all :D
