LANEIGE Water Bank Essence [review]

Hello everyone! Sorry for lack of update last week x_x I was in a short break to revive my blogging mood and I was kinda frustrated due to pile of work in office (I watched "Yong Pal" to refresh my mind a bit. It's a good Korean drama! I just finished the Eps 8 :p anyone watch it too?). Finally I'm coming back with another skin care review for you guys!

This is my first time trying a moisturizer from Laneige. For someone who has normal-combination skin, I always try my best to maintain my skin moisture as I often work near Air Conditioner for more than 8 hours a day. So that I'm afraid my skin somehow will lose its natural moisture. Few weeks ago finally I got a chance to try this Laneige Water Bank Essence :D Let's jump into the real review!

Packaging

As a premium cosmetic brand, Laneige always presents elegant and premium-look products' packaging. As you can see, this Water Bank series have beautiful and elegant packaging ^.^ Especially for the Water Bank Essence; it comes with water pump system that really useful, hygienic and easy to control the amount of essence. The Water Bank Essence is packed in sturdy glass bottle with clear sea blue as the main color.

Laneige Water Science Skincare for Moist and Crystal-clear skin

A 24 hour long lasting moisture essence that contains mineral water for skin regeneration and Water Pump System for moisture circulation to safeguard skin moisture and hold it in to leave the skin moisturized and smooth.

Instantly dampens the skin with ample moisture and forms a natural moisture barrier on skin surface to protect the moisture that is in the skin.

Contains chestnut extract and seaweed extracts to enhance keratin turnover to fight roughness and energizes the skin for a smooth and healthy texture

Directions

1. Dispense appropriate amount (0.3ml) after using the emulsion

2. Gently spread from the center of the face towards the contours

3. Cover the entire face with both hands to enhance penetration

In my case, because I don't have their emulsion, I use this right after I cleansed and toned my skin :)

And it works great as well!

Btw sorry I have to cover up the pump with hearts because its pump reflected me in unintentionally squat position when I was capturing these photos; and it's so not appealing. LOL

Texture & Scent

This essence has light and mild texture. It has milky color at first, but it will turns into transparent once you rub it. It also has subtle scent that doesn't bother me at all. Anyway, I love the pump :D easy to use, and never spill-out nor exceed my skin needs. Usually I only need to pump twice for whole face and neck.

Performance

If I use this essence in single use, this essence could adsorbs into my skin well and relatively fast. It barely leave sticky feeling behind ^_^ After tried this essence for almost a month, I could say that this essence is one of the best moisturizers in the market! ♥♥ It moisturizes my skin nicely, while keeping its elasticity and smoothness.

Ever since I started to use this essence, I almost never experience dry and patchy skin again ^.^
