NYX Doll Eye Waterproof Mascara [review]

Hello everyone! Today's topic is all about mascara! To be honest I don't use mascara often, because most of mascaras that I've ever used were flaking and annoyed my eyes when I have contact lens on. Life span of any mascara is relatively short, only 3-6 months, so it's been a while since I purchased my last mascara! #momentoftruth

I heard some of good reviews about this mascara from NYX and I decided to give a try!

Packaging

If you're a fan of NYX products, you must be really familiar with this kind of packaging. Most of NYX products are designed in very simple plain packaging, and usually stick with black color :p They always try their best to be look professional and universal.

Price: I bought it for IDR 128,000 / 8gr

Long lash mascara with waterproof formula

It's cruelty-free!

Mascara Wand

This mascara has wavy comb that not so big, and easy to use.

Nevertheless, it still brings hassle whenever I coat the inner edge of my lashes. Yeah, I have small eyes T_T

Waterproof and Smudgeproof Test

As you can see, this mascara isn't waterproof enough and not smudgeproof. Unfortunately it still slightly cause panda eyes at the end of the day >_<

Performance

Sadly, this mascara isn't really lengthening or volumizing. The only plus point about this mascara is its clump-free formula. I wish this mascara does good job that I've expected before, but apparently this mascara isn't really worth-to-try.

- Not waterproof enough

- Not smudgeproof

- Not volumizing nor lengthening lashes

- Cause panda eyes (not really extreme, though)

So, guys do you have any mascara recommendation below IDR 150k or $14?
