Back to topic, Etude House released these series on Summer 2011 (earlier before 2PM released their song "Hands Up" btw) and I always wanted to try them :)

Finally I got opportunity to try the Deo Perfume Stick! Thank to Etude House Global, who sent me this product as one of my Summer Prizes ~(‾▿‾~)(~‾▿‾)~

This Deo Perfume Stick has slightly green citrus scent, but the scent is only temporary. The scent will disappear few minutes after application.

The scent is mild and refreshing :)

It is a stick-type deodorant having dua caring effect to restrain sweat and its odor to keep freshness with citrus scent.

Directions: Rub gently on armpit area

it comes with cover-lid, i like this part :) i mean, not every deodorant has cover-lid like this. This cover-lid increases hygiene of this deodorant.

The minus is, the cover-lid is too slippery and quite difficult to open it at first time ( ‾ε‾")>

oops sorry for my ugly nails :p I have removed my nail polishes as soon as I finished these photos

this deodorant is retractable and I don't find any difficulty when retract it :D

Other good news? It has huge content *w*

I'm not sure I can finish it up in one year, lol xD

Texture: Dry texture (resembles to lip balm texture)

It will not leave damp / sticky feeling after application.

Deodorants are substances applied to the body to affect body odor caused by bacterial growth and the smell associated with bacterial breakdown of perspiration in armpits, feet and other areas of the body. A subgroup of deodorants, antiperspirants, affect odor as well as prevent sweating by affecting sweat glands. Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate is an ingredient used in foundation, skin moisturizers, lipsticks, eye shadows, concealers, sunscreens and facial powders as an anti-caking and viscosity increasing agent, according to the Skin Deep Cosmetic Database. What is Aluminum Chlorohydrate?

Aluminum chlorohydrate is an astringent that is used as a topical antiperspirant or body deodorant. Although it's the least irritating of the aluminum salts, it can still result in allergic reactions. But here's where it gets stickier: Aluminum also happens to be a neurotoxin that alters the function of the blood-brain barrier, linking it to Alzheimer's disease and cancer. We don't have any conclusive proof, however, that antiperspirants actually increase your risk of getting Alzheimer's.

Still, some research suggests that aluminum-based compounds, which are applied frequently and left on the skin near the breast, may be absorbed by the skin and result in estrogen-like behavior. Because the hormone has been known to promote the growth of breast-cancer cells, some researchers have suggested that aluminum-based compounds in antiperspirants could contribute to the development of breast cancer. Deodorant is one of most common things which is sold in drugstore or supermarket. Human couldn't be separated with sweat and people need deodorant to restrain sweat and odor on armpit. 

There are many pros and contras about aluminium substances in anti-perspirant deodorant. There were studies who said that aluminium subtance may contribute to the development of breast cancer, meanwhile there were studies who said the opposite.

I concern about aluminium substance as well, despite there's no strong evidence which proves its harmful effect (CMIIW). That's why I avoid to use deodorant everyday. I'll only use deodorant when I know I'll produce much sweat that day x_x

TIPS to use deodorant:

1. Don't use deodorant everyday

2. Don't forget to wash your armpit area before go to sleep / when take a bath

By washing armpit area, it will help us to prevent the substances of deodorant absorbed perfectly into our pores.

Despite still there are pros and contras about aluminium subtance, I recommend you beware about this issue. Prevention is better than medication, isn't it? :)

PS: for people who has sensitive skin, you may beware with this deodorant because it contains fragrance

PSS: for people who has allergic with aluminium substance, you should look for another deodorant which doesn't contains aluminium substance
